The mission of the UC Center for Law and Religion is founded on a comprehensive understanding of the human person and the relevance of their spiritual dimension from a legal, social, and institutional perspective. Based on this, it promotes a rigorous and respectful analysis of religious freedom in its individual, collective, public, and private dimensions, in accordance with the intellectual tradition of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the teachings of the Church, and international human rights law.
