If you are in the United States, you can access the tax benefit by donating through Friends of Catholic University in Chile, Inc. at the following link. Do not forget to send your proof to donaciones@uc.cl

Donations to Friends by USA residents are deductible for Federal income tax purposes within the amount permitted by law.

Contributions equal to or greater than $100,000 are eligible for the tax benefit (in Chile) according to Law No. 18,681 regarding donations to Universities.

Note: If paying with a credit card, each installment must be at least $100,000 to be eligible for the benefit.

Once we receive your donation, we will proceed to process the certificate, which we will send to the indicated address within 15 business days.

The tax deduction that a natural person can access is 50% of the donation, and in the case of a company, it can be up to 62% of the donation (See more details).
