Analysis of the main aspects of the legislative debate sparked by the Church Law Bill in Chile. The objections raised by the Catholic Church, social and legal controversies, and the perception that the legislative process proceeds without sufficient consideration of critical opinions or the technical and social arguments of various relevant stakeholders are highlighted.
